Freshman Hailey Couchman has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for April 21-30, 2017.

Couchman was a multiple individual event winner during the River States Conference (RSC) Championships, taking fourth in the long jump and sixth in the high jump. The Baldwinsville, New York native posted a 5.09m long jump and followed that with a 1.42m high jump.
