Sophomore Carolina Bologna has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for August 14-21, 2017.

Bologna helped lead the team during the WVU Tech Tri-Meet Saturday, totaling 12 kills, averaging 2.4 a set and garnering a hitting percentage of .647.

The Vasto, Italy native also marked three service aces, two block assists and a block solo.
