Junior Lorena Moyers has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for August 29 - September 5, 2017.

Moyers helped lead the Golden Bears to a 7-1 victory over Brewton-Parker College in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

The Mexico City, Mexico native finished the game with back-to-back goals, scored at 76' and 78' to mark a career-high (two goals in a game).
