Junior Ana Monteiro has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for September 6-11, 2017.

During the Concord Classic held in Athens, West Virginia September 8-9, Monteiro tallied 43 kills and the Golden Bears finished 2-2.

The Sao Paulo, Brazil native also picked up 29 digs and recorded seven service aces.
