Senior Ruby Bingham has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for September 12-20, 2017.

Bingham, who has started in all seven games this season, finished the week with an assist and five shots (three on goal) as a defender.

The Melbourne, Victoria, Australia native has been a leader for Tech's defense this season, helping keep their opponent goal total to eight compared to Tech's 14.
