Junior Savannah Shamblin has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for December 1-5, 2017.

Shamblin had a career-day in the win at Point Park University, 85-79, leading all scorers with 30 points for WVU Tech (6-6, 2-0 RSC). The Cross Lanes, West Virginia native was 6-for-8 from beyond the arc and 4-for-4 at the bonus line.

Shamblin averages 12.67 points per game is a perfect 15-for-15 from the foul line this season.
