Senior Zjhane West has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for December 15-19, 2017.

In Tech's win over No. 12 Indiana University East, 81-77, West finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block.

The Silver Spring, Maryland native is currently No. 36 in the country (NAIA DII), as of December 19, with 16 total blocks.
