Ali Holmes (Dunbar, WV) earns hear first Student-Athlete of the Week honor after seeing action in five of Tech’s eight games last week, helping her team to a 6-2 record.  Ali recorded 6 hits for the Golden Bears, including 2 doubles, 1 home run and an impressive 6 runs batted in.  She also drew a walk and scored twice during her five games on the field.

If the Golden Bears can sweep their final four home games of the season, Holme’s efforts will have helped position her team for a 30 win season for the first time in program history.
