Samarakoon finished tied for seventh overall in a field of 63 golfers during the River States Conference (RSC) Championship with a three-round score of 234 (+21) at the Lassing Point Golf Club (Par 71 | 6,274 yards).

The Cairns, Queensland, Australia native earned second team all-conference accolades for his efforts on the course while also being named Tech's Champion of Character.
