Hawgood, who hails from Kamloops, British Colombia, Canada, led the Gold and Blue's back row defense as libero over four matches.

Hawgood picked up a total of 55 digs in the four Tech victories while also recording 13 assists and three service aces. She has 302 digs in 2018 and averages 4.08 digs per match.
