Ignacio earned a first place finish during the three-day Magnus Cup in the 50 Breast (25.77) punching his ticket to nationals with an 'A' cut.

Individually, Ignacio also picked up points with a fifth place finish in the 100 IM (53.49), sixth in the 200 Breast (2:05.02) and a seventh place showing in the 100 Breast (56.57). The Santos, SP - Brazil native also helped lead the 800 Free Relay team to a sixth place finish with a time of 6:58.50.
