Casey Orndorff is leading the way for a young Golden Bear Cross Country squad for the upcoming season.  The senior is starting off the season with high expectations with hopes of capping off his career with a personal best time at the USCAA National Cross Country meet in November. He brings a lot of energy and experience to the squad and has started varsity in his three previous seasons. With a 4.0 GPA in Mathematics, Orndorff has shown he can lead in the classroom as well as on the course.  Orndorff is the president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as well as an officer in the Christian Student Union.  As team captain for the Golden Bears for the past three seasons, Orndorff is expected to continue the march forward as one of the team’s captains in what has been coined as a “new era” for the Golden Bear Cross Country program.
