Requena, who hails from Madrid, Spain, posted her seventh double-double of the season with 13 points and 12 rebounds during the River States Conference Championship. She also dished three assists while blocking two attempts, matching career-highs as a Golden Bear.

Both the men's and women's basketball teams ended their seasons as RSC Champions and with runs in the NAIA DII National Championship.

The women defeated No. 3 Morningside College 72-69 in the first round and were scheduled to face University of Saint Francis before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
