Junior Zack White has been named the student-athlete of the week for September 19 through 25.

White led the men's cross country team to a 3rd place finish at the Fighting Scots Invitational held at Ohio Valley University. His individual performace of 9th place led the Golden Bears during their obstacle filled, European-style 5K course.

So far this season, White has been the first finisher in each race for the Golden Bears.

White is an electrical engineering major from Rosedale, W.Va.
