Junior middle hitter Summer Stokley has been named the student-athlete of the week for September 19 through 25.

Stokley led the women's volleyball team to its first win of the 2012 season over WVU Parkersburg. In this match, Stokley recorded 16 kills and 3 blocks, scoring 19.4 points in the match.

Stokley is a criminal major from Wakulla, Fl.
