WVU Tech Athletics

Sophomore Roché Wimberly has been named the student-athlete of the week for November 7 through 13.
 
This past week, Wimberly led the Golden Bears in a 76-56 victory over the University of Pikeville scoring 20 points while recording 5 rebounds.  She also recorded 7 points and 6 rebounds in a close 64-60 loss to West Virginia Wesleyan College.  The Golden Bears currently have a 2-1 record leading into this weekend’s Bevo Francis Tournament at the University of Rio Grande. 

Wimberly is a general studies major from Cleveland, Ohio.
