Sophomore Mashya White has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for January 23 through 29.
  
After previously average 3.75 points a game, White had a breakout game in her first start of the season scoring a career, single-game high of 25 points in the effort.  The six-foot Ohio native went 12 for 17 from the field while recording eight rebounds and WVU Tech’s lone block of the game. 
 
So far this season, White has tallied 97 points in 17 games of play.  She is shooting 51.28% from the field while bringing down 40 rebounds and blocking five shots.
 
White is a pre-nursing major from Cincinnati, Ohio.
