Sophomore Jacki Wood has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for February 27 through March 5.

Left-hander Wood lead on offense and defense for the Golden Bears in their 3-1 victory over USCAA rival St. Andrews University.  Wood pitched all seven innings surrender one run on three hits.  She also went two-for-three from the plate in the contest.  Currently Wood is 1-1 on the season and has a 2.69 ERA.  She is batting .333 with a .417 slugging percentage.

Wood is a criminal justice major from Anchorage, Alaska.
