ASHEVILLE, North Carolina - The WVU Tech women's soccer team picked up their second win of the season Saturday by defeating Warren Wilson College, 2-1. The Golden Bears boosted their record to 2-5-2 while the Owls fall to 3-5.
Tech was led by goals from senior
Creshana Jones and freshman
Tyler Graves, her first collegiate goal. Freshman goalkeeper
Martha Reyna recorded one save, allowing just one goal in 90 minutes of play.
Jones netted her second goal of the season to start Tech off in the 4
th minute. Defense prevented either team from scoring in the next 41 mintues to finish out the half.
The Owls struck next to knot the score, 1-1, when Kendra Orians was able to find the back of the net in the 65
th minute.
Graves retaliated at 77:20 for the game-winning goal in Saturday's competition. Tech was able to get two more shots off, Jones and Graves, while holding Warren Wilson to zero shots to end the game and take the victory.

Tech held a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks while outshooting the Owls, 13-4.
Next, the Golden Bears will host the University of Pikeville in Beckley, West Virginia. Kickoff at the Paul Cline Memorial Complex is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
