MONTGOMERY, West Virginia - The WVU Tech women's basketball team grabbed their third victory of the season at the Baisi Athletic Center Saturday afternoon during Homecoming celebrations. The Golden Bears boost their record to 3-3 with the 115-35 victory over Virginia University of Lynchburg.
Six Golden Bears scored in double-digits for WVU Tech including a career-day from freshman guard
Kaitlynn Propst. The freshman produced a game-high 21 points to add to her seven rebounds. Freshman forward
Brett Justice chipped in 14 points while pulling down a game-high nine rebounds.

Rocio Ruiz-Berdejo marked 11 points and senior guard
Nia Nolan recorded 10 points to round out the top contributors for the Golden Bears. Nolan put out a game-high six assists while senior guard
Noelani Woodson dished five assists to add to her six points and three rebounds.

As a team, Tech was 48-for-82 (58.5 percent) from the field and 11-for-14 (78.6 percent) from the free throw line.The Golden Bears held advantages in points in the paint (66-18), second chance points (33-6) and fast break points (16-2).
Lynchburg was led by Likishia Taylor who scored 18 of their 35 points and pulled down three rebounds.
WVU Tech will host Alice Lloyd College (Kentucky) and the University of Rio Grande, Nov. 21-22, for the Baisi Classic in Montgomery, West Virginia.
