CHARLESTON, West Virginia - WVU Tech men's soccer defeated No. 3 Bryant & Stratton College-Syracuse, 1-0, Friday evening to earn a spot in the final of the United State Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championships.

Nestor Calzada found the back of the net in the seventh minute off an assist from junior
Joaquin Rodriguez to give the Golden Bears a quick 1-0 lead and a final score for the win.
After 90 minutes of play, the Bobcats held advantage over Tech in shots (12-9) and the edge in corner kicks (6-2).
Freshman goalkeeper
Hunter Moles recorded the win, stopping six balls.
WVU Tech will face No. 1 seed, University of Maine at Fort Kent to defend their National title, Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Friends of Coal Trace Fork Soccer Complex, scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
The Golden Bears defeated UMFK to earn the National title in 2013 with a 2-1 score and are looking for a repeat performance.
