CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio - WVU Tech men's basketball will enter 2015 with a 12-3 mark after grabbing their fifth consecutive win Friday afternoon against Ohio Chrisitan University, 86-76. The Trailblazers are now 6-9.
Senior
Jaren Marino posted 30 points on six three-point field goals to lead the team. Fellow classmates,
Leon Cooper, Jr. had a great all-around game with 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while
Jauries Thomas led Tech in rebounds with 13.
As a team, the Golden Bears limited Ohio Christian to 36.0 percent shooting from the floor while outrebounding their opponent, 46-32.
"This was a huge road win as OCU was 20-3 at home the past two seasons, including a big win over the Cumberlands recently," stated head coach
Bob Williams.
The team will enjoy a holiday break until January 3 when they will travel to Kentucky to take on University of the Cumberlands.
