Carroll, Pauley Named to All-Tournament Team

MIAMI GARDENS, Florida - Senior outside Haley Pauley and junior middle Jacque Carroll were named to the All-Tournament team at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Classic hosted by St. Thomas University for their play over the weekend.

Pauley and Carroll combined for 99 kills, 58 digs and four each of blocks and aces during the tournament.

WVU Tech travelled to Florida to face Missouri Baptist University, University of Jamestown (North Dakota), host school St. Thomas and Warner University. The Golden Bears played hard dropping four preseason scrimmages.

The team will officially begin their season Tuesday, August 26 when they host the University of Pikeville in the Baisi Athletic Center. The action is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
