Rocio Ruiz-Berdejo had double-double efforts Monday evening and the WVU Tech women's basketball team ended its nine-game losing streak with a 70-58 win over Ohio Christian University.
This win boosts Tech's record to 6-12 while the Trailblazer's record drops to 8-9.
Lusk and Ruiz-Berdejo each have five double-doubles this season after a team-high 20 points and 13 rebounds from Lusk and 13 points, 11 boards from the freshman. Lusk also had three steals for the team-high.
Senior
Nia Nolan posted 11 points, three rebounds and two assists. Nolan is leading the Golden Bears, averaging 16.47 points per game.

Cierra Mobley pulled down ten rebounds to go with her five points and three assists. Fellow classmate
Noelani Woodson produced six points, including a perfect 4-for-4 effort at the foul line.
As a team, the Gold and Blue enjoyed a 62.5 percent (15-for-24) shooting performance from the foul line. The Golden Bears also held key advantages in points off turnovers (22-19), second chance points (12-8), bench points (19-16) and rebounds (52-43).
Defensively, Tech held the Trailblazers to just 19-of-68 shooting (27.9 percent) from the field while the Golden Bears connected on 38.6 percent (27-of-70) of its own shots on the offensive end en route to the 12-point, 70-58 win.
Shekinah Alexander had 26 points and eight rebounds for Ohio Christian.
Tech returns to action Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the University of Pikeville.
