MONTGOMERY, West Virginia - WVU Tech baseball starts their 2015 campaign this weekend by traveling to Laurinburg, North Carolina for a three-game series versus Lenoir-Rhyne University while men's basketball will face host Shawnee State University, women's basketball will head to Bluefield College (Virginia) and wrestling faces Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia.

LAST COMPETITION
  • Tech dropped a match to St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, North Carolina Thursday evening, 31-17
  • The Golden Bears are now 9-5 in duals this season.
  • The Gold and Blue had four wrestlers that were victorious Thursday, freshmen TJ Bean (125) and Curtis Cox (133), junior Conrad Lacey (157) and sophomore Terry Nance (197).
  • Bean defeated his opponent by fall, claiming six team points in the matter of 51 seconds for the first match-up of the night.
  • Cox immediately followed, winning by decision (6-2) over his opponent, Tyran Taylor.
  • Lacey and Nance won by major decision, 12-3 and 13-4 respectively.
