EAST BANK, West Virginia - The WVU Tech baseball team split a doubleheader versus Ohio Christian University, falling in game one, 3-0 before winning the nightcap, 12-4 at Douglas M. Epling Field in East Bank, West Virginia Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears are now 11-11 while the Trailblazers have a record of 1-6 this season.

Tech registered five hits from four Golden Bears, including two from senior Austin Lucas.

Senior Craig Johnson (0-2) pitched 6.0 innings for the loss, scattering seven hits and two earned runs.

Game Two | WVU Tech 12, Ohio Christian 4
Five Golden Bears had a multiple-hit game, juniors Hugo Rodriguez (3), Tommy Weaver (3), Carlos Diaz (2), Josh Hudson (2) and sophomore Heath Utterback (2).

Hudson (1-2) earned the win on 5.1 innings of work, striking out four Trailblazers while giving up five hits and four earned runs.

WVU Tech will host Alfred State University at Douglas M. Epling Field, Sunday, 12:15 p.m. for one nine-inning game.
