MONTGOMERY, West Virginia - WVU Tech baseball will host Central Pennsylvania College Sunday afternoon after facing Ohio Christian University in Ohio this afternoon. The softball team will face the Trailblazers Saturday, April 18 in Circleville, Ohio for a doubleheader.

- The Golden Bears registered four hits with senior Kat Lively, juniors Breigh Renner and Genna Trippett and freshman MaKayla Waugh recording a hit each.
- Lively and Trippett posted an RBI a piece for Tech.
- Sophomore Mackenzie Wilson (5-6) pitched a complete game for the loss, striking out three Hilltoppers while scattering three hits and three earned runs.

- Renner, Trippett and freshmen MaKayla Waugh, Baylee Harless and Peyton Fetty had a hit each for Tech in Tuesday's nightcap.
- Fetty was 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI.
- Freshman Samantha Sirles (0-6) drew the start pitching in game two, putting in 5.2 innings of work, giving up eight hits and four earned runs in the loss.

- Eefeated Bluefield State College with a 15-2 victory Thursday afternoon.
- The Golden Bears out hit Bluefield State 17-11.
- Of the eight Tech players with hits, five had a multi-hit game.
- Junior Dylan Harvey who went 4-for-5 at the plate with three runs scored, two RBI, two stolen bases and a double.
- Juniors Hugo Rodriguez and Xavier Barriere finished with three hits and an RBI each.
- Rodriguez registered three runs scored, two stolen bases, a sacrifice fly and an RBI.
- Barriere had one of each, a RBI, run scored, double and stolen base.
- Junior Carlos Diaz and sophomore Trevor Lam had two hits each including a home run from Lam for Tech's first run of the day while Diaz had a game-high three RBI, a sacrifice fly and a stolen base.
- Sophomore Austin Southcott (6-0) recorded the win, pitching the first 5.0 innings of play, striking out 11 batters while giving up six hits.
