Alyssa Capon recorded the first hat trick of her career and WVU Tech women's soccer captured their first conference (KIAC) win Thursday afternoon by defeating Midway University, 6-0. The Golden Bears improve to 4-1, 1-1 (KIAC) while the Eagles fall to 0-4, 0-1 (KIAC).
Capon netted three of Tech's goals while seniors

The six scores are the most Tech have netted in a single game since a 6-2 victory over Kentucky Christian, September 3, 2012.
Next the team and the West Virginia Soccer Association (WVSA) will be celebrating Youth Soccer Month on Saturday, September 19 and invite youth soccer players to join them as Tech hosts Warren Wilson College at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Complex for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff in Beckley, West Virginia.
