BECKLEY, West Virginia — WVU Tech (6-1, 1-1 KIAC) women's soccer earned their fifth consecutive win Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 shutout victory over Warren Wilson College (3-2-1). The five-game win streak marks the longest for women's soccer since at least 2007. The Golden Bears and the West Virginia Soccer Association (WVSA) also celebrated Youth Soccer Month by hosting local youth players for the match-up.
"It was a privilege to play in front of the little kids," said sophomore captain
Tyler Graves, "I remember when I was that age, I would look up to teams like this."

Sydney Schaeffer (3-0) earned their third shutout in a row. Schaeffer ended today's game with three saves after 90 minutes of play.

Alyssa Capon scored her fifth goal of the season, the most on the team, unassisted (51') for Tech's first goal. In the 64
th minute, Graves sent a perfect cross to sophomore
Tristen Kilman who found the back of the net off a header. Kilman now has three goals in 2015.

Stephanie Kot, "she has been getting ready for this season since last spring."
The Golden Bears will return to the field September 25 when they travel to the University of Pikeville. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
