Bruck Scores Hat Trick in WVU Tech Win Over RMU

CHICAGO, Illinois — WVU Tech men's soccer finished their two-game road trip to Chicago with a 10-0 shutout victory over Robert Morris University-Springfield Saturday afternoon. Freshman Lucas Bruck recorded his first collegiate goal, converting that into his first career hat trick to help the Golden Bears move to 7-0 this season.

Freshmen Ethan Emmons and Álvaro Adán marked their first collegiate goals for the Golden Bears. Tech also saw contributions from juniors Daniel Ramirez, Joaquin Rodriguez and Ridge Ramsey, senior captain Raul Martin and sophomore Francisco Neto as they each netted a goal.

Sophomore Jose Segarra produced three assists while senior Sam Laughton and Emmons had two each. Freshmen Tyrone Madhani, Harry Reilly and Adán posted an assist a piece.

Sophomore goalkeeper Pol Bernaldo (4-0) recorded the shutout win for the Golden Bears. Junior Hunter Moles had a save in the second half for Tech after 45 minutes of play. 

Tech will next face Point Park University in their first KIAC competition of the season when they head to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Wednesday for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.
