MONTGOMERY, West Virginia — The WVU Tech women's basketball team dropped a KIAC match-up to Ohio Christian University 71-63 Saturday afternoon in the Baisi Athletic Center. Tech is now 8-12, 3-6 (KIAC) this season while the Trailblazers improve to 12-8, 5-4 (KIAC).

Courtney Fisher led all scorers again with 20 points while pulling down a game-high 11 boards for her seventh double-double effort this season. Freshman
Savannah Shamblin played 35 minutes for the Golden Bears, producing 16 points, four rebounds and two assists.
The team was held to just 35.9 percent (23-for-64) shooting from the field while Ohio Christian shot 44.4 percent (24-for-54). Tech did hold the advantage in second chance points (12-10) while ending even with their opponent in points in the paint (32-32).
The Gold and Blue will play host to Carlow University Sunday in the Baisi Athletic Center for a make-up conference game. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
