DELRAY, Florida — Eight of the top nine seeds all picked up Opening Round victories including No. 8 WVU Tech and No. 9 MidAmerica Nazarene University who will meet Monday, November 28 at the Seacrest Soccer Complex in Delray Beach, Florida for the second round of the NAIA National Championship. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m.
RECORDS
- The Golden Bears (17-2-2) enter the game after a 2-1 victory over Olivet Nazarene November 19 in Beckley, West Virginia.
- The Pioneers (16-3-1) earned a spot in the second round with a 2-1 victory over Wayland Baptist.
GOLDEN BEAR NOTES
- Tech makes its first-ever appearance at the final site.
- The team averages 3.520 goals per game and are ranked No. 9 in the NAIA for their efforts.
- Freshman Ignacio Tellechea leads the team with 47 points on 19 goals and nine assists.

- The Pioneers fell to Rio Grande, 1-0 in overtime, in last season's championship match.

- MNU is 7-1-1 on the road this season, suffering their only loss to Baker University.
