MONTGOMERY, West Virginia -- Junior
Ryan Atkins posted a new career-high of 41 points and WVU Tech earned an 88-75 River States Conference (RSC) victory over Ohio Christian University Tuesday evening. The Golden Bears are now 7-4, 2-1 (RSC) this season while the Trailblazers hold a record of 5-8, 0-2 (RSC).
Atkins went 12-for-15 from the bonus line to go with 11 rebounds in his double-double effort. In a balanced attack where ten (of 12) Golden Bears scored, junior
Kievonn Banks was the only other double-digit scorer for Tech, finishing with 11 points and seven rebounds.

Elisha Boone had nine points and six rebounds while freshman
Junior Arrey marked eight points and three assists for the Gold and Blue.
Tech held advantages in rebounds (45-34), points off turnovers (17-10), second chance points (15-10), points in the paint (42-26) and forced miscues (13-10).
Up next, the Golden Bears will continue their home stand as they host No. 10 Indiana University East on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. in the Baisi Athletic Center.
