PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania -- Junior
Kievonn Banks finished with 21 points and 14 rebounds for his second double-double this season and WVU Tech men's basketball captured a River States Conference win, 90-68, over Carlow University Friday evening. The Golden Bears now have a winning record of 4-3, 1-0 (RSC) while the Celtics slip to 0-9, 0-1 (RSC).
Banks finished 9-for-12 from the field, had a game-high five assists and pulled down eight offensive rebounds towards his 14 total. The Rochester, New York native is currently ranked No. 36 in the nation (NAIA DII) in offensive rebounds per game (2.833).

Patrick Gnagbo and freshman
Junior Arrey also hit double-digits for the Gold and Blue posting 12 and 11 points respectively. Junior
Ryan Atkins finished with nine points while senior
Ra'Shaud Kincaid and junior
Elisha Boone had eight each.
On the boards, Gnagbo and junior
Michael Scott both had six rebounds. Tech dominated on the boards, grabbing 47 compared to the Celtics' 26.
The Golden Bears were 34-for-75 (45.3 percent) from the field while their opponent finished 22-for-49 (44.9 percent). Tech posted 11 steals and forced 16 Carlow miscues.
WVU Tech will continue RSC play in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania tomorrow, Saturday when they face Point Park University.
