Box Score 2 MOUNT VERNON, Georgia — The WVU Tech baseball team swept Brewton-Parker College Friday afternoon in their first two contests of a four-game series. The Golden Bears extend their win streak to three with the 10-0 and 8-2 win over the Barons, boosting their record to 4-2.
On the mound, junior
Austin Southcott (1-0) scored the shutout win after throwing a complete game in the first contest while fellow classmate
Jayson Sykora (1-0) pitched for the win in the night cap.

Southcott did 7.0 innings of work, giving up just three hits while striking out five Barons.
