LAST MEET (Men's)- Swam to a second place finish in the 2016 Appalachian Swimming Conference (ASC) Championships, scoring a total of 501.5 team points behind two first place touches in the 200 and 800 Free Relays.
- The Golden Bears broke six school records in the process.
- The team of freshman Kohen Kerr and sophomores Alexandre Quintão, Jesus Ballesteros and Quentin Cooper broke the school record and earned a first place finish with a time of 1:23.69 in the 200 Free Relay.
- The winning squad of Ballesteros, Quintão, Cooper and Manuel Serrano Laguna touched after 6:52.00 in the 800 Free Relay for the medal.
- Tech also broke the program's record in the 400 Medley Relay due to the effort of Laguna, Quintão, sophomore Geoffroy Gauneau and freshman Arthur Bertrand. The team finished third overall, touching after 3:26.02.
- Freshman Kohen Kerr placed second in the 50 Free with a time of 21.04, good for a new school record.
- Kerr also touched second in the 100 Free (46.24), earning Tech's new top time in the event.
- Laguna competed in the 200 Free (1:42.78) and the 200 Breaststroke (2:07.07), finishing second in both.
- Ballesteros was just behind his teammates, touching third in the 200 Free (1:43.40) and 100 Free (46.50).
- Bertrand improved his time (-0.90) by touching at 1:52.30 in the 200 Backstroke, finishing second overall in the conference championship and adding his name to Tech's record book for the top time.
- Cooper touched second in the 1650 Free with a time of 16:25.22. Gauneau completed the 100 Fly with a time of 1:55.06, finishing second and improving his personal time (-0.20).
LAST MEET (Women's)- Finished in sixth place out of 15 teams in the ASC Championships, breaking nine program records while in Christiansburg, Virginia.
- Last season, the squad finished 13th with a team score of 14 points, crushing that finish this season with 271 team points.
- Sophomore Kendra Monnin was named the ASC Female Athlete of the Year by the participating teams' coaches for winning three individual events including two new school records for WVU Tech.
- Monnin won the 200 Breaststroke (2:22.18) and the 200 IM (2:08.24) for the new records while touching first in the 100 Breaststroke (1:05.79).
- Freshman Isabela Kiesewetter Zandavalli also scored points for the Gold and Blue, finishing seventh in the 500 Free (5:17.46) and third in the 200 Backstroke (2:07.35), both breaking Tech records.
- The last individual to break a program record was junior Francine Meyer who finished fourth in the 100 Free with a time of 53.40.
- Meyer also picked up points for Tech with fifth place finishes in the 50 Free (24.72) and the 100 Fly (59.41).
- The Golden Bears broke four relay records with the team of Zandavalli, Monnin, Meyer and freshman Mariana Loureiro.
- The team touched second in the 400 Medley Relay (4:01.27) and 800 Free Relay (7:54.01) while finishing third in the 400 Free (3:38.48) and the 200 Medley Relay (1:50.37).

LAST SERIES- Completed the four-game series sweep at Brewton-Parker College Saturday afternoon by defeating the Barons 10-1 before taking them down 16-4 in the night cap.
- The Golden Bears have extended their win streak to five and now hold a record of 6-2 while the Barons fall to 3-15.
- On the mound, junior Chris Davidson (1-1) scored the win in game one, while senior Kyle Sager (2-0) pitched for the win in the final game of the series.

- Tech finished with 13 hits for the win with junior Victor Diaz registering three of them while senior Dylan Harvey and juniors Marcus Rodriguez, Trevor Lam and Sebastian Gomez Herrera had two each.
- Diaz went 3-for-4 at the plate as the designated hitter, recording four RBI and scoring a run while hitting two doubles.
- Senior Jeinson Espinosa notched Tech's first triple of the season and junior Brady Groesbeck and Lam had a double a piece.
- Davidson did 6.2 innings of work, scattering eight hits while striking out four Barons and giving up one earned run.
- Game Two | WVU Tech 16, Brewton-Parker 4 (Box Score)
- Harvey had another multiple hit game for the Golden Bears, finishing 2-for-4 including a double and a triple that scored him four RBI and two runs.
- Doubles were also posted by junior Hunter Greco, senior Tommy Weaver, Espinosa and Diaz.
- Sager struck out one batter while giving up just four hits and three earned runs in 4.2 innings.
