The Golden Bears are now 9-15 overall and 4-9 in Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) play this season while the Bearcats improve to 16-12, 11-4 (KIAC).
Fisher finished with a double-double, posting a game-high 18 rebounds while Shamblin pulled down six boards and Combs five. Shamblin also finished with a game-high three assists for the Golden Bears.
The team finished 35-for-76 from the field while grabbing 39 rebounds compared to Brescia's 36.
The Gold and Blue will return to action Thursday when they travel to Wilmore, Kentucky to face Asbury University. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
