LAST SERIES- Secured a doubleheader split versus Bluefield College Saturday afternoon at Midland Trail High School in Hico, West Virginia by downing the Rams, 6-4 before dropping the night cap, 6-5.

- Freshman Skylar Connelly led the game off with a solo home run and senior Genna Trippett knocked a two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth to help lead Tech to the victory.
- Trippett finished 3-for-3 at the plate including a double to go with three RBIs and a run.
- Connelly marked two hits, producing a RBI and a run scored.
- Freshman Rachel Rusch posted a triple while marking two hits and a run scored and senior Breigh Renner marked two RBI on one hit to round out Tech's top offensive contributors.
- Junior Mackenzie Wilson (2-2) scored the win in the circle, pitching 5.1 innings while striking out one batter.
- Freshman Becky Rusch drew the start, retiring three Rams while scattering four hits and three earned runs.
- Game Two | WVU Tech 5, Bluefield 6 (Box Score)
- R. Rush and senior Megan Blythe both had a multi-hit game for Tech.
- Rusch had three hits, one RBI and crossed the plate three times while Blythe had two hits and drove in two runs.
- Connelly and sophomore Kayla Harbin knocked doubles in the loss.

LAST SERIES- Completed a four-game series sweep and is enjoying a 15-game winning streak after defeating Brescia University 8-3 and 9-4 Saturday afternoon.
- The team currently boasts five top-ten national (NAIA DI) rankings including No. 3 in runs scored per game (9.750), No. 3 in runs batted in per game (9.125), No. 7 in batting average (.360), No. 8 in hits per game (11.625) and No. 9 in fielding percentage (.968).

- Junior Chris Davidson (3-1) pitched a complete game in Tech's 8-3 victory in game one.
- Davidson struck out two Bearcats while giving up just one earned run.
- Senior Tommy Weaver and juniors Trevor Lam and Brady Groesbeck finished with two hits each while fellow classmate Tanner Levine marked a triple and got on base by balls three times.
- Groesbeck drove in two runs while Weaver, Lam and Levine marked one RBI each.
- GAME TWO | WVU Tech 9, Brescia 4 | Box Score
- Junior Jayson Sykora (3-0) put in one inning of work for the win on the mound while senior Kyle Sager drew the start, scattering seven hits, one strikeout and one earned run in 5.0 innings.
- Junior Victor Diaz marked his first home run this season, finishing 2-for-3 in the night cap.
- Senior Doug Prather and Marcus Rodriguez each had a double while Rodriguez drove in two runs and Prather posted one RBI.
- Freshman Roy Suzuki had a standout game, bringing in three runs off of two hits including giving Tech the lead in the bottom of the sixth, 6-4 off a single through the right side.
- The hit brought in Prather and freshman Anferny Ellis.

LAST TOURNAMENT- Finished their fall season by earning first place in the Ohio Valley University Highlands Cup Challenge after shooting a two-round score of 618.
- The Golden Bears won in a field of nine teams at the Parkersburg Country Club (Par 73 | 6,581 Yards | Slope 121).
- The Golden Bears tied with Fairmont State University but the tie-breaker gave Tech the edge for the first place finish off the score of freshman Braden Keown who tied for 25th, marking an 84 in the second round.
- Freshman Makenzie Gaskin won the individual medalist award to pace the Golden Bears, finishing first out of 44 golfers carding a 150 (+4) in the one-day 36 hole event.
- Freshmen Drew Hiskins (T5, 155) and Matt Ryan (8, 156) and senior Steven Han (T9, 157) earned All-Tournament accolades with their performances.

LAST MEET- Began their outdoor seasons last week in the Golden Eagle Invitational at Laidley Field in Charleston, West Virginia.
- Each team finished seventh overall with the men scoring 39 team points and the women grabbing six.
- MEN (Results)
- Charleston rolled up 152 points to win the meet while Shawnee State edged Tech 42-39 for sixth place.
- Sophomore Zuberi Idy led the way for the Golden Bears, winning the Triple Jump in a personal best 38'6.25" while also garnering fourth place honors in the Long Jump (18'4").
- Also placing for the Gold and Blue were freshmen Daniel Lynch (Shot Put, Third, 39'6" | Discus, Sixth, 106'6"), Jordan Tucker (100 Meter Dash, Third, 11.37), Joseph Richmond (Discus, Fourth, 114'9"), Sasha Fleurinor (400 Meter Dash, Eighth, 54.02), Jaleel Parris (200 Meter Dash, Seventh, 24.69) and Raquez Lockhart (200 Meter Dash, Eighth, 24.92).
- WOMEN (Results)
- The Golden Eagles also held the top spot for the women with a team score of 180 points, Tech was just behind West Liberty University who had 11 points compared to Tech's six.
- The team picked up their first set of points in the program's history as freshman Leondra Bell finished third in the Shot Put with a throw of 33'10".
