LAST SERIES- Began KIAC play by splitting a doubleheader with Asbury University.
- The Golden Bears (7-9, 1-1 KIAC) fell after eight innings in game one 3-2 before taking the Eagles (7-12, 1-1) in the night cap 7-1.
- Sophomore MaKayla Waugh, who has a batting average of .379 and slugging percentage of .448, finished the day 4-for-6 at the plate with three runs scored, a double and a RBI.

- It was only after eight innings of play the Eagles were able to come out on top 3-2 in game one.
- The Eagles finished with ten hits and three RBI compared to Tech's eight hits and one RBI.
- Freshman Skylar Connelly, senior Megan Blythe and Waugh each tallied two hits.
- Blythe and Waugh were the two Golden Bears who crossed the plate for Tech's scores.
- Freshman Rachel Rusch marked the team's lone RBI, driving in Waugh in the top of the fifth off a single up the middle.
- Junior Mackenzie Wilson (2-4) put in 6.1 innings of work for the loss.
- Wilson struck out nine batters while scattering eight hits and two earned runs.
- Game Two | WVU Tech 7, Asbury 1 | Box Score
- Of the 12 hits produced by the Golden Bears, Waugh, sophomore MiKayla Craze and senior Breigh Renner finished with two hits each.
- Connelly had a standout game, finishing with two RBI, a double, a run scored and a stolen base.
- The short stop also reached base twice by walking.
- Waugh and sophomore Kayla Jones had doubles in the night cap while the two and Blythe drove in one run each.
- Blythe and Waugh also grabbed a stolen base each.
- Freshman Hannah Burke (4-3) pitched a complete game for her fourth collegiate victory.
- The Warren, Ohio native gave up eight hits and one earned run while striking out one opponent.

LAST SERIES- Defeated Indiana University Southeast 3-2 in the final game of a four-game series after falling 1-0 in Saturday's first contest.
- The Golden Bears are now 9-3 in conference (KIAC) play and 17-5 overall while the Grenadiers are 13-9, 7-1 (KIAC).
- In the final game of the series, senior Kyle Sager (4-0) threw for 4.0 innings, striking out five batters for the win.
- Junior Tanner Levine was awarded the save after 1.0 inning and a strike out.
- GAME One | WVU Tech 0, IU Southeast 1 | Box Score
- Senior Doug Prather registered two hits and the Golden Bears finished with six total hits in the loss.
- On the mound, junior Chris Davidson (3-2) had seven strike outs while scattering four hits and one earned run for the loss.
- GAME Two | WVU Tech 3, IU Southeast 2 | Box Score
- The runs driven in by junior Brady Groesbeck (2 RBIs) and Prather (1 RBI) led to Tech's only victory of the series, 3-2.
- Prather had a multi-hit game, finishing 2-for-4 at the plate while Groesbeck posted one hit.
- Senior Brandon Tucker put in 2.0 innings of work on the bump, finishing with two hits, one earned run and a strike out.
- Sager gave up three hits and one earned run and stayed perfect on the mound, 4-0.
