Box Score 4 MIDWAY, Kentucky — WVU Tech softball is enjoying a four-game winning streak after sweeping doubleheaders against Brescia University Saturday and Midway University Tuesday.
The Golden Bears now hold a winning record of 8-6 in the conference (KIAC) and are 19-24 overall after 8-3 and 14-4 victories versus the Bearcats (9-17, 4-8 KIAC) then defeating the Eagles (7-29, 0-14 KIAC) 10-3 and 10-0.

Senior
Genna Trippett and junior
Adriana Rosendo marked two RBI off of one hit each in the win. Trippett was 1-for-3 with a home run and a run scored while Rosendo was 1-for-1 at the plate.
Freshmen
Rachel Rusch and
Skylar Connelly and senior
Megan Blythe each drove in a run. Rusch crossed the plate twice while Connelly and Blythe both plated one run.
Trippett pitched three innings for the win, giving up four hits. Freshman
Becky Rusch put in 4.1 innings of work, striking out two batters while scattering four hits and three earned runs. Sophomore Kyla Schull threw for 1.2 innings, posting two strike outs and one hit.

Blythe led the way in game two, recording four hits including a triple, three RBI and a run scored. Trippett was a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored.
Two runs batted in each were also credited to Connelly, junior
Lexi Huck and sophomores
MiKayla Craze and
MaKayla Waugh. Waugh hit a long ball and a double while Connelly and Huck both posted two-bag hits.
Junior
Mackenzie Wilson (7-8) pitched a complete game for her seventh win this season. Wilson gave up seven hits and three earned runs while walking one Bearcat.

Softball will play host in Smithers, West Virginia for KIAC contests to Ohio Christian University Saturday at 1 p.m. and the University of Rio Grande Sunday at noon, both will be two-game series. The team will celebrate Blythe for senior day before the first pitch on Sunday.
