REGULAR-SEASON SERIES vs. CARLOW (April 1)
- Split a doubleheader with Carlow University, the Celtics took game one 6-5 before the Golden Bears won the night cap, 6-2.
- In the circle, sophomore Kyla Shull (2-2) was dealt the loss after 3.1 innings in the first game and junior Mackenzie Wilson (5-5) threw to a win and complete game in the final contest.
- Game One | WVU Tech 5, Carlow 6 | Box Score
- A tough fifth inning defensively for WVU Tech was riddled with two of the team's five errors and led to three runs for Carlow and the eventual 6-5 victory.
- At the plate, freshman Rachel Rusch and sophomore MaKayla Waugh each had a multi-hit game to lead the Gold and Blue.
- Rusch finished 2-for-3 with one run scored while Waugh was a perfect 3-for-3 and recorded two RBI.
- Senior Genna Trippett's lone hit was the home run while sophomore Kayla Harbin marked a triple and Waugh, Blythe and sophomore MiKayla Craze each had a double.
- Freshman Skylar Connelly posted two RBI and a stolen base for Tech.
- Shull scattered five hits and three earned runs while striking out four batters after 3.1 innings of work.
- Freshman Hannah Burke drew the start in the circle, pitching 3.2 innings and giving up six hits and three earned runs.
- Game Two | WVU Tech 6, Carlow 2 | Box Score
- Senior Megan Blythe's two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning which drove in R. Rusch gave the Golden Bears a quick 2-0 lead.
- Sophomore Baylee Harless followed that up in the third inning, hitting a single to center field and scoring Blythe and R. Rusch.
- Wilson earned her fifth win this season by retiring five batters and giving up just two earned runs and seven hits.

LAST SERIES
- After a 12-inning game one of a four-contest series, WVU Tech came out on top 5-4 while also taking game three 4-1 and the series finale 6-1 against the University of Rio Grande in the KIAC Games of the Week.
- The Golden Bears took the series 3-1 but fell in game two 14-12 and now hold a record of 34-13, 21-7 (KIAC) while the RedStorm are 26-20, 12-9 (KIAC).

- Saturday the teams were able to complete six innings in game three but were forced to finish the game Sunday due to darkness.
- Sunday started with a score of 7-6, Rio on top, with an inning of play left.
- The teams combined for 13 runs in the seventh and the RedStorm came out on top for a 14-12 victory.
- Seniors Doug Prather and Dylan Harvey, juniors Brady Groesbeck and Trevor Lam and freshman Roy Suzuki had two hits each.
- Suzuki recorded a double, three RBI and a run scored to lead the team.
- Lam finished with a home run, a double, two RBI and a run scored.
- Groesbeck drove in two runs while crossing the plate once himself.
- Junior Jayson Sykora (5-2) pitched for three innings for the loss, scattering five hits and five earned runs while striking out two batters.
- Fellow classmate Tanner Levine struck out a batter after 1.2 innings of work.
- Game Three | WVU Tech 4, Rio Grande 1 | Box Score
- The Golden Bears plated their runs off of a fielder's choice from senior Josh Hudson in the third that brought in Harvey and senior Tommy Weaver.
- The final two scores came off a Suzuki home run that also crossed senior John Baird.
- Hudson (7-2) threw 5.2 innings for his seventh win this season from the bump.
- The South Charleston, West Virginia native struck out four opponents while giving up two hits and zero earned runs.
- Senior Brandon Tucker finished the game, striking out one batter while giving up one hit.
- Game Four | WVU Tech 6, Rio Grande 1 | Box Score
- Rio Grande got on top first, holding on to a 1-0 lead until a four-run third inning from the Golden Bears.
- Lam singled to drive in Groesbeck to start the scoring off.
- Prather then singled through the right side to plate Levine, giving Tech a 2-1 lead.
- Freshman Anferny Ellis and Prather crossed to bring the score to 4-1 when Weaver hit a single and runners advanced further off a RedStorm error.
- The final two runs of the game came in the fourth inning when Harvey and Levine were able to score off of wild pitches.
- Tech finished with ten hits including a 3-for-4 effort and run scored effort from Groesbeck.
- Levine and Prather finished with two hits each while Levine and Groesbeck marked a double.
- Weaver had two of the Gold and Blue's four RBI while Lam and Prather had one each.
- Senior Kyle Sager (7-1) gave up three hits and an earned run while striking out two batters for the win on the mound.
