BECKLEY, West Virginia -- The WVU Tech men's soccer team hosted Spring Arbor University for 110 minutes of play at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Complex in Beckley, West Virginia that ended in a 0-0 tie Monday evening. After the double overtime contest, the Golden Bears hold a record of 1-0-1 while the Cougars are 2-0-1.
Sophomore
Matias Pazos had a game-best three shots, one of which was on goal. Senior
Daniel Ramirez and freshmen
Ignacio Tellechea and
Sergio Sanchez marked two attempts with one on goal each.
Senior
Hunter Moles (1-0-0) finished the complete game with four saves for the Golden Bears. Moles has 12 saves total in two games with a save percentage of .857.
Tech had a 12-7 advantage in shots, including a 6-4 lead in shots on goal.

The Gold and Blue return to action Friday, September 2 against Keiser University in Beckley. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
