SALEM, West Virginia -- The WVU Tech volleyball squad improved to 11-7 Wednesday by taking the best of four sets at Salem International University, 3-1 in order to claim the Golden Bears' sixth consecutive match victory. Tech won the match with scores of 25-16, 25-27, 25-14 and 25-19.

Bailey Lotozo led the contest with 16 kills while also posting six total blocks and five digs. Freshman
Carolina Bologna hit .643 going 11-for-14 and marking four blocks.

Michala Dean dug up 16 of the Tigers attempts to lead the match.

The Gold and Blue will play their first River States Conference match when they head to Richmond, Indiana Saturday to face Indiana University East. The first serve is scheduled for noon.
