MONTGOMERY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech wrestling celebrated their seniors, Denis Robles, Terry Nance II, Colton Rowe and Giovane Lins, during the final home match of the season in the Baisi Athletic Center Saturday evening. The Golden Bears (3-5) dropped the dual to Ohio Valley University (5-0), 39-16.

Freshman Leland Swafford wrestled at 149 pounds and defeated Eli Stewart by major decision, 19-7. Junior Bryan Overton earned a fall at 2:32 over Zach Willard at 165 pounds.

The final Golden Bear to pick up points for the team was junior Casey Hogg who pinned Ben Willard at 285 pounds (4:57).

Nance dropped a hard-fought bout to Tyler Koreski by decision, 5-3.

The team has one more regular season event on the schedule for Sunday, February 5 when they travel to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania for the John Reese Duals.
