LAST MEETING WITH CARLOW (September 26, 2017)
- Dropped a 3-2 match against Carlow University in Beckley, West Virginia.
- The Golden Bears (16-5, 0-2 RSC) and Celtics (8-10, 1-3 RSC) played to set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-17 and 12-15.
- Tech recorded 55 kills as a team including a team- and season-high 21 from senior Bailey Lotozo.
- Lotozo also posted five digs and two block solos.
- Freshman Lauren McCall and junior Ana Monteiro both finished with double-doubles after five sets.
- McCall had 14 of each in kills and digs while Monteiro marked 15 digs and 12 kills.
- Freshman Adrianna Mitchem dished a career-best 41 assists to go with six digs and two kills.
- Sophomore Alice Amitrano produced a season-high 15 digs for the Gold and Blue.

LAST GAME
- Earned their third consecutive victory with a 5-1 score over Brescia University.
- The Golden Bears were led by the combination of freshman Meghan Rugel and sophomore Clarice Taylor.
- Taylor marked her first and second collegiate assists by connecting with Rugel who scored in the fourth and 26th minute.
- Junior Brianna Enger posted a goal and an assist during the RSC match-up, scoring off assistance from freshman Johanna Ribacke (29') before setting up sophomore Lorena Moyers (36') for Tech's fourth goal in the first half.
- The fifth and final score for the Gold and Blue came from Patricia Fisher who found the back of the net unassisted in the 81st minute.
- Fisher, a Woodbridge, Virginia native, now has three goals in 2017.
- Senior Martha Reyna (7-4) and sophomore MaKenna Blankenship split time protecting the net for the Golden Bears.
- Reyna was awarded the win, allowing just one goal while Blankenship recorded a save after 45 minutes of play.
- Brescia's keepers also split time in goal with Jerrica Kid making 12 saves while Jordan Blemker had two.
- Tech held the advantage in shots over the Bearcats, 32 (19) - 2 (2), and corner kicks, 5-1.

- Kicked off River States Conference (RSC) play this season with a double overtime draw of 3-3 in Kentucky..
- Tech's goals were credited to juniors Santiago Cruz (35') and Matias Pazos (51') and sophomore Jesus Naves (53').
- Cruz and Naves each recorded their first collegiate goal.
- Senior Francisco Neto was credited with two assists, to Cruz and Pazos, while sophomore Eduardo Gutierrez sent the perfect pass to Naves for the assist.
- The Gold and Blue finished with nine shots on goal compared to the Eagles' eight.
- Pazos led the team with three shots on frame while Gutierrez and Naves had two each.
- Protecting the net, freshman Jose Domingo Xam-mar (1-2-1) made five stops while allowing three goals in 110 minutes of play.
- Midway's keeper, Christian Neira recorded six saves and three goals allowed.
