BECKLEY, West Virginia -- After set scores of 25-15, 25-20 and 25-20, Indiana University East came away with a River States Conference (RSC) match, 3-0, at WVU Tech Friday evening. The Golden Bears move to 19-9, 3-6 (RSC) this season while the Red Wolves hold a record of 12-16, 6-3 (RSC).
The team finished with 29 total kills including a team-best nine from sophomore
Katelyn Byrd. Senior
Bailey Lotozo tallied seven kills while sophomore
Carolina Bologna had five and freshman
Lauren McCall recorded four kills. Bologna also finished with two service aces and a block solo.
Sophomore
Konstantina Pateli produced 26 assists and a service ace. Fellow classmate
Alice Amitrano had seven digs towards Tech's 32 while Pateli and junior
Ana Monteiro picked up six each.
The Gold and Blue will next host RSC opponent Ohio Christian University tomorrow, Saturday at noon. The Golden Bears defeated the Trailblazers in three this past Tuesday in Circleville, Ohio.
