- Swept Ohio Christian University, 3-0, in River States Conference (RSC) action.
- The Golden Bears boost their record to 20-9, 4-6 (RSC) after set scores of 25-13, 25-11 and 25-8 while the Trailblazers are 10-16, 3-7 (RSC) in 2017.
- Freshman Lauren McCall led the match with 18 kills.
- Sophomore Katelyn Byrd put down eight kills while senior Bailey Lotozo had six.
- Lotozo, who hails from Thornville, Ohio, is ranked No. 35 in the nation (NAIA) for 299 total kills as of October 14.
- Sophomore Konstantina Pateli handled the ball again for the Gold and Blue, dishing 31 of Tech's 37 assists.
- Pateli also tallied eight service aces and three digs.
- The eight aces were a season-high for the Athens, Greece native who is now ranked No. 10 in the nation (NAIA) for 57 total service aces.
- Pateli is also ranked No. 14 in the NAIA with 970 total assists.
- Sophomore libero Alice Amitrano led the back row defense with 11 digs while Lotozo and junior Ana Monteiro picked up seven each.
- As a team, Tech currently holds five top-30 rankings in the NAIA including No. 13 in both total assists (1,159) and kills (1,248), No. 16 in total service aces (168), No. 29 in total digs (1,601) and No. 30 in hitting percentage (.224).

LAST GAME
- WVU Tech and University of Rio Grande both remain undefeated in the River States Conference (RSC) after ending a double overtime battle even, 1-1.
- The Golden Bears are now 9-4-1, 4-0-1 (RSC) in 2017 while the RedStorm move to 7-5-1, 4-0-1 (RSC).
- Tech produced the first goal of the match-up after senior Ruby Bingham sent a corner kick in which connected with sophomore Miriam Cortez.
- With the Gold and Blue's lone goal of the game, Cortez recorded her first career score in the 71st minute.
- Off the bounce back of a previous RedStorm attempt, Chase Davis posted Rio's goal a little over a minute later to even the game and mark the final score of the contest.
- Tech and Rio finished with seven shots on frame including five from Cortez and seven from Davis.
- The teams finished with six stops in goal each including five from senior Martha Reyna (9-4-1) who protected Tech's net for 110 minutes.

LAST GAME
- Dropped their first River States Conference (RSC) game of the season after falling at No. 5 University of Rio Grande 4-0 Saturday evening.
- The Golden Bears are now 4-7-2, 3-1-1 (RSC) in 2017 while the RedStorm hold a record of 10-1-1, 4-0-1 (RSC).
- Tech finished with three shots on goal compared to Rio's 13.
- Senior Francisco Neto, sophomore Eduardo Gutierrez and junior Santiago Cruz had one each for the Gold and Blue.
- The RedStorm's goals, all in the first half, were scored by Ben Mendoza, Harry Reilly, Spencer Reinford and Omar Walcott.
- Freshman keeper Jose Domingo Xam-mar (4-3) made nine stops after a complete game while Rio's Luis Rodriguez was forced to stop three Golden Bear attempts.
