BECKLEY, West Virginia -- WVU Tech volleyball will sponsor its annual Pink Out matches Friday and Saturday when they host Indiana University Kokomo Friday night and Cincinnati Christian University Saturday afternoon in Van Meter Gym. Action for the River States Conference (RSC) match-ups are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. (Friday) and 12 p.m. (Saturday).
The Golden Bears of Tech volleyball worked on getting sponsors to pledge money per point during Saturday's match and will also be collecting donations for the CAMC Breast Center in Charleston, West Virginia.
The team will be wearing pink shirts during warm ups and pink socks during the competition in support of the breast cancer awareness month of October. Fans are also encouraged to wear pink to show their support of the cause.
Tech (4-6, RSC) is currently third in the East Division of the RSC standings while IU Kokomo (8-0, RSC) is first and Cincinnati Christian (2-7) fifth in the West Division.
