EAST BANK, West Virginia -- In WVU Tech baseball's final game at Douglas M. Epling Field in East Bank, West Virginia, the Golden Bears defeated Bluefield State College, 6-3, in a mid-week non-conference match-up. The Golden Bears boost their record to 21-22 while the Blues fall to 11-20.
Tech racked up 11 hits in the win including a two-hit game from seniors
Doug Prather and
Tanner Levine and junior
Wyatt Belinda. Freshman
Jacob Reimold's hit was a round tripper that also drove in Levine.
Levine and Belinda both finished with a RBI and a run scored while Levine had a double and Belinda a sacrifice bunt.
Prather, who reached two times by balls, crossed the plate twice for two of Tech's runs. Reimold produced three RBI and a run scored Tuesday.
Senior
Chris Davidson finished 1-for-3 at the dish with a RBI off his single to left field that scored Belinda.
On the bases Tech recorded five total steals with efforts from senior

Roland Eusebio, Prather and Belinda (2).
Freshman
Michael Rotenberry (2-1) earned his second collegiate win on the bump after 3.2 innings of work. The Princeton, West Virginia native scattered four hits and two earned runs while striking out one batter.
Senior
Marcus Rodriguez (3.1 innings) and Levine (1.0 inning) struck out one Blue each. Levine earned his first save of the season after giving up just one hit.
Up next, the Gold and Blue will play host to Campbellsville University in Beckley, West Virginia at Linda K. Epling Stadium Friday and Saturday. Both days will consist of one nine-inning game with the first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m. (Friday) and 1 p.m. (Saturday). The Golden Bears will celebrate their seniors on Saturday.
