Trippett also crossed fellow senior Lexi Huck, who reached base with a single to center field, with the dinger, giving her a run scored and two RBI.

Huck produced a RBI in the first inning, driving in sophomore Skylar Connelly off a single to left field.

Tech's final score of the game came in the fifth inning when junior Kayla Harbin knocked a double down the left field line that drove in fellow classmate Kayla Jones.

In the circle, senior Mackenzie Wilson pitched a complete game, striking out five Rams while giving up four earned runs. After 81.2 innings in 2017, Wilson has totaled 41 strike outs.
